Rather than being dried on traditional stone walls or in attic lofts, as was once customary, the berries remain on the vine, exposed to the sun and the dry winds of the Pelje\u0161ac Peninsula, where they gradually lose moisture and naturally concentrate their sugars and aromas.<\/p>\n<p>The grapes are harvested late and vinified immediately, with fermentation beginning spontaneously on native yeasts. The wine then matures, preserving a natural balance between sweetness, acidity, alcohol, tannins, and freshness.<\/p>\n<p>In the glass, it displays a dense, deep ruby colour with pronounced copper and brick hues at the rim. Layered aromas of dried and overripe dark fruit are complemented by subtle mineral and herbal nuances.
